Are Avery 5160 and 8160 the same template?

They share the same label layout: 2⅝ × 1 inch, 30 labels on a US Letter sheet. Avery 5160 stock is intended for laser printers and 8160 for inkjet printers. Choose the stock suitable for your printer; the PDF layout is the same.

When this size works well

Use this format for everyday envelopes, invitation lists and holiday-card addresses. It is the most compact of the three layouts in this tool. Long company names or extra address lines may fit more comfortably on the wider 5161 stock.

How many pages will my list use?

A new sheet holds 30 addresses. A 30-address list is one page; a 60-address list is two pages. Starting on a partly used sheet can add a page. The free allowance is 30 addresses per PDF, not a daily quota.

Make your 5160 labels

  1. Import a spreadsheet with column headings in its first row. Download the example CSV if you need a starting point.
  2. Match name or company, street, city and ZIP / postal-code columns. Review the address preview and resolve any flagged rows.
  3. Choose your style and, if needed, the first unused label. Download the PDF, then print on US Letter (8½ × 11 inches) at Actual size / 100%.

Text is fitted automatically; this is not a freeform label designer. Four styles are included. Logo uploads and carrier postage labels are not supported.
